Why join?
The Australian Land and Groundwater Association (ALGA) represents the interests of everybody operating in the contamination remediation sector. You can join ALGA as an individual member or corporate sponsor.
For both individuals and companies, ALGA membership is the best way to stay connected with other individuals and companies operating in the contamination remediation sector, and to remain informed and connected with developments across your industry, and to support advances in the industry.
Our membership is broad-based and multidisciplinary and incorporates land owners, property developers, industry, consultants, scientists, contractors, regulatory agency staff, government, the legal profession, laboratory staff, financiers, researchers and academics.
ALGA has developed a network of branches in each state and territory, an information network and member services. There is a monthly newsletter distributed via email, and a technical program of monthly meetings. We have developing linkages with like international associations and other Australian organisations such as the Cooperative Research Centre for the Contamination and Remediation of the Environment (CRC CARE) and the Australian Contaminated Land Consultants Association (ACLCA).
We expect that ALGA will be influential in advancing the contaminated land and groundwater industry and will be recognised and consulted by government as the peak body in this field. It is an ideal time to get in on the ground floor as a member of this expanding and energetic organisation.
As with most professional and industry associations, members can have as much or as little involvement as they like. If you and your company want to make valuable contacts, enhance your business opportunities and broaden your networks and knowledge in this industry we would be delighted to welcome you as an ALGA member.
